To save or not to save water..that is the question!

Been more than one week since there is a broken pipe near my house...see attached pic...
My husband called twice last week, (wednesday and thursday) even the neighbour called.
Some people from CWA came on Saturday (maybe for the overtime as they came back Sunday morning..couple of hours)

So, when i left home today, there was still no one out there repairing the pipe.

Now! What about all the campaign CWA was yelling about? Save water? Reservoirs are dry?
No wonder they are dry! CWA doesn't even care! I don't think they do when i see all the water flowing on the road everyday.

Don't you think they should save water first then preach about it to others???

SHAME ON CWA!

Am sorry if I sound all angry but am sure you would react the same way if you saw the waste.

Please do forward this coz i hope then they will try to amend their careless ways!

Thnx! oh please check the MISSION and VISION statement they have :)

What people say, is not always what they do, la preuve!

They may be shouting that we must save water, but they are themselves not doing anything to help that.

If they were really so conscious and cautious about fresh water wastage, azordi, tous les rivieres ti pu deverse dan ene reservoir lol !

15:05 - 27 June 2008. - I get a call from Mr Matadeen of the CWA, concerning the complaint by email I sent to the CWA yesterday.

He says that he just received the fax from the CWA headquarters about the complaint.

Hopefully, today things will get better and some water will at least be saved :)

I sincerely hope things will improve...

Well...you know sometime you have to fool them so that they come to do a work at once. There was a broken pipe near my house...and when i called the CWA..it was a mondy. They said..they would come before thursday!

So i decided to fool them. I called them again and talk with authority and pretend to work at the ministry of public utilities! Guess what? Not the next day...but the same afternoon the guys from CWA was working to repair the broken pipe!lol

Today my complaint appeared in L'express about the cwa problem i was having...

The hic is that it appeared after the cwa guys came to repair it (temporarily)...

Mr Matadeen called me to inquire about he matter and I explained the facts to him...

I am thankful to him for his concern, and hopefully situations like this will be dealt with sooner...

*cough* desalinisation is the answer!
Wait! We all know how the "metro leger" project has been put on hold like Duke Nukem Forever and even scrapped!
So, viva broken pipes and water wastage! *sarcasm*
