Who is responsible for the deaths due to flood?

I think the government is:
1. Houses are being built without thinking far in the future. For example the drains etc are not taken into consideration when houses are allowed to be built.
2. The government doesn't give a damn about our rivers, bridges, reservoirs etc...(water stockage)
3. By the way, Ministers don't care about the rain. Their kids go to school in chauffeur driven cars..and get back home to their nanny if school is released earlier...n you know who doesn't have a kid so i don't think he cares much about the worries parents go through in situations like this.
4. All the other reasons you can think of...

hi,, i think it the people of mauritius who is also to blame. they rely too much on people who are in politics.. they are slack and indifferent... u also.. a blog wont change anything. so its bullshit.. as u said people dont think when building houses and they are responsible for the waste they throw which eventually blocked the drains and canals.. people of mauritius have become too money minded.. so are you.they just throw the blame on others..its easy.. cans of beers are found everywhere, fast food boxes are everywhere... blaming others is too easy.. trying to do something is better...
stop this shit and be creative.. u are a designer not a follower. so lead the way.. not follow bloggers..
bizin 2 lamain pour fer son. together wiz ther people of mauritius, the authorities are to blame.. not the government, which is a another institution...

now its already time to train and bring awareness to pple about the causes of the changes of climate. the change is here... we are living wiz it... all the rules have changed and so must we..being proactive and pre-emtive is the way to go through these dangers wiz success.

think about it and bring awareness to all.

thnx for writing V...

Yeah maybe am responsible too..for letting the kids go to school, for not announcing a warning concerning the rain.

I do admit that we all have our share of responsibilities etc..yeah also a blog wont change anything..but then i can still take out my frustration through my blog...at least am not going out and throwing rocks on houses or buildings to show my feelings...

Mauritius is as corrupted as India. What can be done here? How can i change the country? I would appreciate if you could help me here. I don't throw garbage in the streets (least beer cans coz i dont even drink!) I never throw anything in the river. Maybe the others do coz they are still not aware of the dangers. Dont you think the goverment should make them more aware through convincing and effective campaigns?

Do you think i can go down the road and scream about awareness? Who would listen to me? The mbc will not show this coz the'll be too busy with an event with the 'star' of the moment.

Yeah i have my share of responsibiliy and i accept it, but then the governmant has it's share too...they should accept it and not throw the blames on others!
